The multi-sensory experience immerses guests in the resilience and ambition of the people who call this land their home - beginning with our ancestors, to our founders, to the stewards and changemakers of today, and their dedication to creating a sustainable flourishing future for all.
The LEED-platinum certified building was designed by Santiago Calatrava for the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, and features 28 mobile wings, inspired by a falcon in flight.
The UAE House of Sustainability is located in the Green Zone, at Expo City Dubai, is adjacent to the Blue Zone. The Green Zone will be operational between Thursday 30 November and Tuesday 12 December 2023.
As the host nation of COP28, in the Year of Sustainability, the United Arab Emirates will convene stakeholders from all over the world, from government to civil society to industry, on the shared journey to Net Zero, highlighting the power in collective progress.
The UAE House of Sustainability will be open to delegates and guests of the Blue Zone, Public and Private Sector, NGOs and the General Public.
